The Forgotten Women Project is a housing project initiative specifically designed for homeless women aged over 55. Its primary goal is to provide housing for as many of these vulnerable women as feasible. By securing suitable properties, The Forgotten Women ensures that these women have access to secure, safe, and affordable housing options.

In support of homeless women aged over 55 in Brisbane, the Brisbane Airport Hotels Group has sponsored the Live Like Her Challenge. As part of this initiative, staff are encouraged to fundraise and take part in the event, which includes spending one night living in their cars.

Challenge DV is pioneering social enterprise, committed to eradicating domestic and family violence. Through advocacy efforts and organised events, Challenge DV advocate for policy changes and prioritize prevention on local and national platforms, whilst raising crucial funds for research and prevention initiatives.

BAHG is empowering managers and staff to be part of the solution by delivering a specialized leadership training with the aim of educating managers and staff to recognise the signs of domestic and family violence, provide support to employees affected, increase awareness through events such as Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month in May as well as facilitate connections with local support services such as refuges and shelters.
