The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Event Space, Executive Lounge, IRD`s and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport precinct, it is the first accommodation and meeting and event space to be developed in this precinct.
Brisbane Airport Hotels is currently seeking a Chef de Cuisine for the complex (Pullman & ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels and Brisbane Airport Conference Centre) to join the professional and dynamic kitchen team. This role will report to the Group Executive Chef, with responsibilities including leading the smooth day-to day shift operation within the Kitchen of particular hotel or conference centre.
What will I be doing?
As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for the culinary concept creation under the guidance of our Group Executive Chef for our restaurants, stylish bar, conference and event space, executive lounge, in-room dining and our signature breakfast offering. Specially you will:
- Creating award-winning menus balanced with a focus on sustainability and cost effectiveness
- Lead from the front, sharing your exceptional cooking skills with your team and guests
- Inspire and train the kitchen team and foster an environment for growth
- Lead and drive services where necessary
- Manage and maintain a clean, safe & hygienic working environment
