Marketing Executive

The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, Executive Lounge and 12 meeting spaces collectively totaling 1800m2. Located at the Brisbane Airport Domestic Terminal, it is the first accommodation, meeting and event space to be developed in this precinct.

The Group is currently seeking a motivated Marketing Executive to join our dynamic and professional Sales & Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be from a marketing background, reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Execute integrated marketing and communication strategies
  • Create dynamic, engaging and authentic content for internal and external audiences across a number of channels including digital platforms, social media, electronic direct mail, brochures, and
  • Oversee and implement the hotels & conference centre Social Media, Public Relations, Loyalty and Brand campaigns
  • Supporting the delivery of annual marketing planning
  • Oversee our on-line presence, including website, social media and digital platforms including monitoring online brand mentions and comments/questions posted to our social channels
  • Directly managed third-party agencies (PR, Digital, Design) and collaborate to ensure strong working relationship and results
  • Ad-hoc duties from your direct manager.

To be successful in this role, you must have;

  • Experience at producing actionable plans
  • Creative and innovative out of the box thinking, willing to trial new ideas and be best in class
  • Understand digital platforms and have the ability to analyse their performance
  • Proven experience in marketing, communications, digital platforms
  • Great relationship management skills, with a developed understanding of the interactions between marketing and the wider business
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business with a major in Marketing or equivalent is desired
  • Experience within the hospitality/tourism/events industry advantageous
  • Desktop publishing, graphic design skills or experience with Abode, CANTO would be an advantage but not a necessity
